Job Description

We're currently seeking an Analytics Product Engineer to turn ambiguous healthcare and business questions into trusted data models and working analytical products. This role requires hands-on expertise in advanced SQL, Snowflake, dbt, React, and data analytics. You'll own the full cycle from data exploration and metric definition through modeling, validation, prototyping, and production, while partnering closely with Product and Engineering to build intuitive, data-driven experiences.

3+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, product analytics, or a comparable technical role

Healthcare, physician compensation, workforce, or financial analytics experience

Experience with wRVUs, provider compensation models, productivity benchmarks, or healthcare operations

Experience building semantic layers, metrics layers, or reusable analytical frameworks

Python experience for data exploration, validation, automation, or pipeline work

Experience developing percentile, cohort, peer-comparison, or benchmarking methodologies

Experience building data-intensive SaaS products or analytical applications

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Strong analytical judgment, product judgment, and problem-solving skills

A strong work ethic, self-starter, and ability to work independently with ambiguity

What You Will Be Doing

50% Data / Analytics Engineering

50% Product Development

100% Hands On

Explore, query, and transform complex datasets directly in Snowflake

Build and maintain production dbt models for healthcare and business performance metrics

Develop benchmarking methodologies including percentiles, peer groups, specialty comparisons, and cohorts

Define meaningful metrics and determine how analytical insights should be presented to users

Build lightweight HTML prototypes and develop validated concepts into functional React interfaces

Establish strong data-quality practices through testing, documentation, validation, and reproducibility

Use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate exploration, coding, prototyping, testing, and documentation

Partner with Product and Engineering to move analytical products from concept to production

Work responsibly with sensitive healthcare and compensation data while following governance, security, and access-control practices
