About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager to lead tax engagements, manage client relationships, and oversee a team of tax professionals. The ideal candidate will have strong public accounting experience, technical tax expertise, and the leadership skills to manage multiple projects while delivering high-quality client service.

Responsibilities

• Review and oversee the preparation of tax returns, including:

  • Corporate

  • Partnership

  • Individual

  • Trust & Estate

  • Gift Tax

  • Private Foundation

• Develop and implement tax planning strategies and year-end tax projections.

• Research complex tax issues and support tax return positions.

• Manage multiple tax engagements, project schedules, and filing deadlines.

• Supervise, mentor, and train tax staff.

• Build and maintain strong client relationships while serving as a trusted advisor.

• Review work for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with tax regulations.

• Improve accounting and tax processes to enhance quality and efficiency.

• Collaborate with partners and team members to ensure timely project completion.

• Stay current with federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor''''s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• CPA license required.

• Strong technical knowledge of federal and state tax regulations.

• Experience reviewing Corporate, Partnership, Individual, Trust & Estate, Gift Tax, and Private Foundation tax returns.

• Experience with tax planning, tax research, and year-end tax projections.

• Previous leadership experience managing tax professionals and client engagements.

• Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and project management skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced public accounting environment.
