Position Overview

We are seeking an Azure DevOps Cloud Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Azure DevOps CI/CD, Terraform, Azure infrastructure, security, and deployment automation. The consultant will support IT modernization initiatives by building secure, repeatable deployment processes and improving reliability, observability, and environment consistency.

Required Skills

• 4+ years Azure DevOps CI/CD
• Strong experience with YAML and Classic pipelines
• 3+ years Azure App Services, Functions, APIs, and Containers
• 3+ years Azure Key Vault, RBAC, Managed Identities
• Experience with SQL deployment automation, DACPAC, SQLCMD, and database migrations
• 3+ years environment provisioning/configuration across Dev/QA/Prod
• 3+ years Application Insights, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, pipeline logs and alerting
• 2+ years Terraform, Bicep, or ARM
• Experience with Microsoft Entra ID and least-privilege IAM
• Experience with PCI or similar compliance frameworks

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines using YAML and Classic pipelines.
• Create reusable pipeline templates and deployment standards.
• Automate Azure infrastructure using Terraform/Bicep/ARM.
• Implement secure secrets management using Azure Key Vault and Managed Identities.
• Automate SQL/DACPAC database deployments.
• Standardize Dev, QA, and Production environments.
• Configure monitoring, dashboards, alerts, Application Insights and Log Analytics.
• Support Azure App Services, Functions, APIs, API Management and AKS.
• Implement Entra ID, RBAC and least-privilege access.
• Troubleshoot production and deployment issues.
• Support compliance and governance requirements.
• Improve cloud reliability, availability and cost efficiency.
