A growing real estate investment and development platform with a national footprint and a specialized focus on selfstorage and other high-barrier-to-entry real estate investments is looking to add a Senior Vice President to help lead the Investments team. The firm has experienced significant growth over the past decade and is entering its next phase of expansion with an active pipeline and ambitious investment objectives.

Position Overview

The Senior Vice President of Investments will be a key member of the leadership team responsible for sourcing, evaluating, structuring, and executing investment opportunities. This individual will work directly with the Founder and senior leadership to drive acquisitions, development initiatives, and portfolio growth while helping scale the platform for future expansion.

The ideal candidate is a high-energy dealmaker with strong financial and real estate expertise, exceptional relationshipbuilding abilities, and an entrepreneurial mindset.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and originate acquisition and development opportunities.
• Develop and maintain relationships with brokers, developers, landowners, lenders, architects, engineers, and other market participants.
• Lead underwriting, financial analysis, due diligence, and transaction execution.
• Negotiate purchase agreements, joint ventures, and financing structures.
• Present investment opportunities and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Partner with asset management and development teams to create and execute business plans.
• Manage transaction timelines, diligence processes, and risk mitigation efforts.
• Mentor junior investment professionals and contribute to the firm's strategic growth

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in real estate investments, acquisitions, development, or private equity.
• Self-storage experience strongly preferred. Experience with IOS, industrial flex, or other alternative real estate sectors is a plus.
• Experience with both acquisitions and development.
• Established network throughout the Southeast and broader U.S. investment markets.
• Proven track record sourcing and closing commercial real estate transactions.
• Strong financial modeling, underwriting, and investment analysis skills.
• Demonstrated ability to generate proprietary deal flow and build industry relationships.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership capabilities.
• Entrepreneurial, self-motivated, and highly execution-oriented.
