Senior Data Engineer

Position: Senior Data Engineer
Location: Remote Client offices are in Texas and Ohio
Duration: 12+ months with possibility of hire
Start Date: November 2, 2026
Interview: 1-hour interview 30-minute coding challenge + 30-minute discussion

Must-Have Skills

• dbt Cloud
• AWS AWS experience required; Azure is not required
• Python
• Snowflake
• Fivetran experience preferred

Required Experience

• 5+ years of data engineering experience
• Strong experience building and scaling modern data pipelines and data models
• Advanced SQL and Python skills for data transformation, automation, and performance tuning
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake, dbt, and orchestration tools such as Airflow
• Strong knowledge of Fivetran, AWS, and Docker
• Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and CI/CD workflows
• Experience working with unstructured/semi-structured data such as JSON, Parquet, and Avro
• Exposure to containerization and infrastructure-as-code concepts
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Healthcare or regulated-industry experience preferred
