Job Title: Java Developer – Big Data / Cloud
Location: New York, NY / New Jersey
Duration: Contract-to-Hire (C2H)

Required Skills: Java, Spring Boot, Kubernetes, AWS, ECS, S3

Preferred Skills: Cassandra, Spark, Scala, HDFS, Kafka, NoSQL

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot.

  • Design and implement scalable cloud-based solutions.

  • Deploy and manage applications using Kubernetes and AWS services.

  • Develop and support data-driven applications using modern technologies.

  • Use approved AI-assisted coding tools for code generation, refactoring, testing, and documentation.

  • Troubleshoot application issues and maintain production stability.

  • Collaborate with teams to improve software performance and architecture.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of software engineering experience.

  • Strong hands-on Java programming experience.

  • Experience with Spring Boot and Kubernetes.

  • Exposure to AWS, ECS, and S3.

  • Knowledge of system design, application testing, and operational stability.

  • Familiarity with modern front-end technologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Cassandra or other NoSQL databases.

  • Knowledge of Spark, Scala, and HDFS.

  • Familiarity with Kafka and modern cloud infrastructure.
