The Role

• Provide managerial and technical leadership to an electronics design team, supporting production programs for safety-critical technology.
• Manage work packages, including cost, schedule, risk, and opportunities.
• Ensure the engineering team effectively supports production program demands.
• Uphold technical governance and ensure adherence to company processes.
• Lead cost and performance trade-off analyses.

What You'll Need

• Demonstrated high performance and achievement in leading and managing engineering teams through a full product development lifecycle.
• Proven experience with cost and planning management tools, optimising solutions, and minimising impacts from dependencies.
• Experience in product design control and package management.
• Experience identifying improvements to working practices and team skill development, focusing on failure reduction and Mean Downs Between Failure (MDBF).
• Desirable: Experience with Safety Critical Systems and requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS) or work-package management tools (e.g., MSP, JIRA).
