Are you a Senior Civil Engineer with a consultancy background, specialising in highways and drainage design, looking to become the go-to technical specialist within an established engineering consultancy, with a clear route towards Branch Manager?

This company is an established, independent engineering consultancy delivering civil, structural, geotechnical and environmental engineering projects across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a key technical specialist to play a leading role in their York office.

In this role, you will become a go-to person for highways and drainage design, taking ownership of projects from concept through to delivery. You will lead technical design, manage key client relationships and provide guidance to junior engineers, whilst playing an influential role in the continued growth of the business. With excellent in-house training, full support towards chartership, the choice for paid overtime and hybrid working.

This role would suit an experienced Civil Engineer with strong highways and drainage design experience, looking to become a recognised technical lead, take on greater responsibility and progress into senior management.

The Role:

• Leading highways and drainage design across a range of civil engineering projects.
• Liaising with clients, local authorities and other engineering disciplines.
• Providing technical guidance and support to junior engineers.
• Working towards progression into Branch Manager.

The Person:

• Civil Engineer or similar.
• Experience in both highways and drainage design
• Commutable to York
