Job Title: Benefits Administration Platform SME (Benefitfocus / Empyrean)

We are hiring! We are seeking an experienced Benefits Administration Platform SME with expertise in Benefitfocus or Empyrean to support benefits administration implementations, plan configuration, and data feed management.

Must-Have Skills:

  • Hands-on experience with Benefitfocus or Empyrean benefits administration platform.
  • Strong experience in benefit plan configuration, eligibility rules, enrollment setup, rates, and coverage management.
  • Expertise in inbound/outbound file feeds, data mapping, integrations, file validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting.
  • Solid understanding of employee benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, and Voluntary Benefits.
  • Experience supporting implementations, testing, production support, and system enhancements.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and client-facing communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Configure and maintain benefit plans and enrollment settings.
  • Manage data integrations and file feeds.
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into platform configurations.
  • Perform testing, troubleshoot issues, and support production activities.
  • Create configuration documentation and collaborate with business and technical teams.
