As one of the newest Chenega companies, Chenega Defense & Aerospace Solutions (CDAS) was developed with the purpose of providing expert Engineering and Technical Support Services to federal customers.
The Systems Analyst supports an Intelligence Office Systems Analysis Branch by conducting technical analysis of adversarial Unmanned Systems (UXS), associated subsystems, supporting infrastructure, communications architectures, payloads, software, and enabling technologies. This position evaluates how UXS platforms are designed, integrated, operated, sustained, and employed to identify technical capabilities, limitations, vulnerabilities, dependencies, and opportunities for exploitation or disruption.
The Systems Analyst integrates technical exploitation results, engineering assessments, operational reporting, network analysis, and intelligence data to develop comprehensive technical assessments of adversarial UXS ecosystems. The role directly supports threat characterization, technical intelligence production, countermeasure development, targeting efforts, vulnerability assessments, operational planning, and future threat analysis.

Responsibilities
- Conduct technical analysis of adversarial UXS platforms, subsystems, payloads, sensors, communications systems, navigation systems, software, firmware, and supporting infrastructure.
- Evaluate system architectures, component integration, communications pathways, command-and-control functions, and operational performance characteristics.
- Analyze hardware and software components to identify system functionality, limitations, vulnerabilities, dependencies, and technical signatures.
- Assess communications architectures, RF links, navigation systems, networking components, data transmission methods, and supporting technologies used by adversarial UXS platforms.
- Integrate findings from technical exploitation, digital forensics, network analysis, engineering assessments, and intelligence reporting into comprehensive system-level analyses.
- Develop technical assessments of adversarial UXS chains, operational workflows, mission dependencies, sustainment requirements, and enabling ecosystems.
- Identify technical vulnerabilities and opportunities for disruption, exploitation, detection, tracking, interdiction, or countermeasure development.
- Support capability evaluations, vulnerability assessments, red team activities, operational planning, and targeting efforts.
- Produce technical reports, system profiles, vulnerability assessments, briefing materials, and intelligence products supporting mission operations.
- Research emerging technologies, novel UXS capabilities, commercial components, software applications, communications technologies, and autonomous systems relevant to the threat environment.
- Collaborate with engineers, technical exploitation analysts, network analysts, intelligence analysts, operational planners, and mission partners to develop integrated technical assessments.
- Support development and maintenance of technical databases, system documentation, analytic references, and threat repositories.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience conducting technical analysis, systems engineering, technical intelligence analysis, engineering assessments, exploitation analysis, or related technical mission support.
- Experience analyzing complex technical systems, communications networks, software applications, hardware components, or integrated technologies.
- Experience interpreting technical documentation, engineering data, technical reports, or system specifications.
- Experience integrating technical and intelligence information into analytical products and assessments.
- Active Top Secret with the ability to obtain TS/SCI
- Successfully pass background and drug screening.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Active TS/SCI
- Experience with Technical Intelligence (TECHINT), Foreign Materiel Exploitation (FME), Sensitive Site Exploitation (SSE), or technical threat analysis.
- Experience with unmanned systems, counter-UAS technologies, aerospace systems, autonomous systems, robotics, or military technologies.
- Experience evaluating RF communications, telemetry systems, data links, satellite communications, GPS/GNSS systems, or wireless networks.
- Experience performing hardware analysis, software analysis, firmware review, reverse engineering, or digital forensics.
- Experience supporting Intelligence Community, Department of Defense, Research and Development, test and evaluation, or operational intelligence organizations.
- Familiarity with engineering analysis methodologies, system modeling, capability assessments, and technical vulnerability analysis.
- Knowledge of electronic warfare, cyber operations, signals intelligence, or network analysis.
- Experience supporting targeting, operational planning, or countermeasure development activities.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Strong analytical, technical writing, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work onsite in Arlington or Alexandria, Virginia.
- Understanding of communications systems, networking concepts, RF technologies, embedded systems, sensors, payloads, or software-enabled systems.

- Knowledge of system dependencies, operational architectures, kill chains, technical signatures, and adversary technology ecosystems.
- Ability to analyze complex technical systems and determine their capabilities, limitations, vulnerabilities, and operational implications.
- Ability to evaluate technical documentation, engineering drawings, schematics, system specifications, and technical data.
- Ability to integrate technical exploitation findings, engineering assessments, network analysis, and intelligence reporting into comprehensive system assessments.
- Ability to identify technical vulnerabilities, component dependencies, failure points, and opportunities for exploitation or disruption.
