Security Systems Engineer- South-East England- Full Time- Self Employed £50,000-£60,000
- Covering South-East England (Kent, Sussex, Surrey, London, Essex & surrounding areas)
- Annual earnings of £50,000 - £60,000
- Full-time, permanent self-employed opportunity
- Company vehicle provided
- Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
- Overtime available for those who want it
- Training provided on Fire Alarm and Automatic Gate systems where required

Security Systems Engineer Overview
We are recruiting for an experienced Security Systems Engineer to join an established security company covering the South-East. This role primarily involves working within public and private education settings, carrying out service, maintenance, fault finding, repairs and installations across a range of electronic security systems.

Security Systems Engineer Role & Responsibilities
- Service, maintain, fault-find and repair CCTV, Access Control and Intruder Alarm systems.
- Install CCTV, Access Control and Intruder Alarm systems when required.
- Cover customer sites across Kent, Sussex, Surrey, London, Essex and surrounding counties.
- Work predominantly within public and private education settings.
- Complete service reports and associated paperwork accurately.
- Occasionally work on Fire Alarm and Automatic Gate systems, with training provided if required.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
Security Systems Engineer Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience servicing and maintaining CCTV, Access Control and Intruder Alarm systems.
- Experience with manufacturers such as Hikvision, Avigilon, Dahua, Texecom, Galaxy, Honeywell, Paxton, Salto, Advanced, Protec and Gent is advantageous.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
- Willingness to travel across the South-East.
- Must be able to pass an Enhanced DBS check.
