Business Data Analyst

The Business Data Analyst will be responsible for performing requirements planning, monitoring, and management. They will independently conduct data analysis, data discovery, and data profiling using industry standard querying tools to support the development of clear and unambiguous business requirements. This role will involve maintaining data mapping documents and other data design artifacts to define business data requirements and transformation rules.

• Gather requirements from business units and translate them for developers
• Possess strong functional knowledge and skills
• Utilize industry standard querying tools for data analysis
• Work on Agile projects and have knowledge of dimensional database structure
• Facilitate requirements elicitation and data analysis processes
• Mentor and lead other Business Analysts or Data Analysts
• Identify industry best practices
• Demonstrate knowledge of the insurance industry
