Hitachi and Pure Storage Engineer

Prestigious Financial Institution is currently seeking a Sr. Storage Engineer with strong Hitachi and Pure Storage arrays experience. Candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Linux multi-path and Cisco MDS Fibre Channel switching.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage storage solutions, primarily using Hitachi and Pure Storage arrays. 
• Collaborate with storage vendors on installation, upgrades, and replacementsofstorage arrays. 
• Ensureoptimalperformance and reliability of storage systems. 
• Administer Cisco MDS FibreChannel switches. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on storage projects and requests. 
• Document processes and maintainstandards for storage system architecture. 

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in storage engineering. 
• Strongexpertisein Hitachi storage solutions: OpsCenter Admin, CM-REST, Analyzer, and RAIDCOM 
• Deep understanding of Fibre Channel switching layer with an ability to troubleshoot. 
• Familiarity with Pure Storage arrays. 
• Proficient in RHEL multipath configuration for various array types. 
• Eagerness to work with and learn from the team. 

Preferred Skills:

• Detailed knowledge of the Hitachi and Pure array model lines. 
• Troubleshootingskills forFibreChannel performance issues. 
• Abilitytowrite and understand scripts usedforautomation ofdata collection tasks. 
• Experience withsoftware-definedand object storage solutions. 
• Knowledgeof data replication options and when to utilize each.
