Job Title - Technical Specialist (Prime brokerage)
Location - NYC, NY(hybrid 3 days)

Must have:

Must have prime brokerage background in equities
Must have exp in skill cluster Java, Python Linux and C++.
Minimum 3 days work from office in a week (NYC location)

JOB Summary:

The Technical Specialist (Prime brokerage background in equities is must) will be responsible for utilizing expertise in Java, python, LINUX and C++ to develop and implement technical solutions. The primary focus will be on designing, coding, testing, and debugging software applications for various projects.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop high-quality software solutions using Java, python, LINUX and C++
2. Collaborate with cross functional teams to analyze requirements and design appropriate technical solutions 
3. Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and standards are met 
4. Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise during the software development lifecycle 
5. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to Java, python, LINUX and C++
6. Document technical specifications and user guides for developed applications

Skill Requirements:
1. Must have prime brokerage background in equities. Proficiency in python programming language 
2. Strong knowledge of Java, python and C++ programming languages 
3. Experience with software development methodologies and best practices 
4. Problem-solving skills and attention to detail 
5. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Other Requirements:
1.Relevant certifications in Java, python, LINUX and C++ would be a plus
