Technical Architect - OpenShift
Rate: 750 per day (Inside IR35)
Location: Remote
Length: 6 Months
Role Profile
We are seeking an experienced Technical Architect / Technical Lead to join a large-scale enterprise platform modernisation programme. This is a key opportunity for someone with strong Red Hat OpenShift expertise to take ownership of a technology domain or migration workstream and drive delivery from technical direction through to successful implementation.
The role combines deep technical expertise with strong delivery leadership. You will be responsible for resolving complex technical challenges, managing dependencies and risks, and ensuring progress against programme objectives within your assigned area.
You will work closely with senior engineering leaders, architects, programme stakeholders and executive sponsors, building credibility quickly and influencing decisions across the organisation.
As Technical Architect, you will:
- Lead a defined technology domain or migration workstream within a complex enterprise transformation programme.
- Own technical direction, architectural decisions and delivery outcomes.
- Drive execution of platform modernisation and migration activities.
- Coordinate across engineering, architecture, operations and programme teams.
- Identify and remove technical blockers, dependencies and risks.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership where required.
- Represent your workstream at governance, technical review and leadership forums.
- Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and communicate progress, challenges and recommendations effectively.
- Ensure solutions align with organisational standards, governance requirements and strategic objectives.
