The Role • Function as a Cashier and/or Stocker, taking a lead role in the absence of management. • Assist in receiving, stocking, and maintaining merchandise on the sales floor and in stockrooms. • Provide exceptional customer service, including assisting shoppers and managing customer interactions. • Operate the cash register, process transactions, and handle cash and payments accurately. • Support store opening and/or closing procedures as directed. • Contribute to maintaining store cleanliness, organization, and a safe shopping environment. What You'll Need • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations for transactions and percentages. • Knowledge of cash handling procedures, including accountability and deposit control. • Proficiency in operating cash registers and scanners. • Understanding of cash, facility, and safety control policies. • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. • Ability to read and follow plan-o-grams and merchandising guidelines.
