Job Description

Firetrol Protection Systems is seeking a Commercial Fire Alarm Service Technician to join our team and provide exceptional service to our commercial clients. This role involves installation, maintenance, inspection, and repair of fire alarm systems in commercial buildings to ensure safety and compliance with all relevant codes and standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, inspect, maintain, and repair commercial fire alarm systems
  • Conduct routine testing and troubleshooting of alarm systems
  • Ensure all systems comply with local, state, and national fire codes
  • Educate and communicate with clients regarding system operation and maintenance
  • Maintain accurate and detailed service reports and records
  • Collaborate with team members and follow company safety policies and procedures
  • Provide excellent customer service and support during service calls
  • Valid Fire Alarm License (FAL) or equivalent certification
  • Minimum of 2 years experience servicing commercial fire alarm systems
  • Strong knowledge of fire alarm system components, programming, and troubleshooting
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Capable of working independently as well as part of a team
  • Physical ability to perform job tasks including climbing, lifting, and working in various environments
