are seeking a skilled Ignition & Sepasoft Engineer to design, develop, and deploy robust Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and SCADA applications. In this role, you will bridge the gap between factory floor automation and enterprise systems, leveraging the power of Inductive Automation's Ignition platform and Sepasoft MES modules to drive digital transformation and smart manufacturing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Application Development: Design and build SCADA and MES user interfaces using Ignition Vision and Ignition Perspective modules.
• MES Implementation: Configure and deploy Sepasoft MES modules, focusing on OEE & Performance, Track & Trace, Recipe Management, and Quality tracking.
• Database & Scripting: Write efficient SQL queries, stored procedures, and Jython (Python) scripts within Ignition for data logging, transaction management, and custom business logic.
• PLC & Equipment Integration: Connect factory hardware (PLCs such as Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.) to the Ignition platform utilizing OPC-UA, MQTT, and other industrial protocols.
• Testing & Deployment: Conduct rigorous internal testing, site acceptance testing (SAT), and provide on-site or remote troubleshooting during commissioning phases.
• Documentation: Create technical documentation, functional specification documents, user manuals, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent industry experience).
• Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in industrial automation, process control, or manufacturing IT.
• Core Technical Competencies:
  • Hands-on expertise with Inductive Automation's Ignition platform (Core, Vision, Perspective).
  • Demonstrated experience implementing Sepasoft MES modules.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL Server / PostgreSQL database design and management.
  • Experience with scripting languages (Python/Jython, JavaScript).
• Industrial Knowledge: Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (OPC UA, Modbus, Ethernet/IP) and ISA-95 standards.
• Certifications: Inductive Automation Ignition Core/Gold and Sepasoft certifications are a significant plus.
