Video Editor

WWMT/ARC West Michigan is looking for an experienced, detail-oriented and creative News Video Editor to join our content center.

Job Responsibilities include:

         - Editing video for daily news coverage, special projects and our multiple platforms as needed

         -Taking in news feeds from news bureaus and various news organizations

         -Collaborating with anchors, reporters, photographers and producers on video elements of newscasts

         -Meeting daily deadlines in a high energy work environment

Requirements and Qualifications:

• -College degree or minimum one (1) year relative experience in the field
• -Knowledge of Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro is a plus
• -Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with team
• -Positive attitude
• -Basic knowledge of journalistic standards and ethics

• -Understands news is a 24/7 business, able to work holidays, nights and weekends as needed.
