Buyer Techno Commercial (Site)

• Identification and continuous updating of vendor data base.
• Review of estimation of the various orders/packages.
• To ensure timely bid preparation & publishing of tenders to potential vendors.
• Finalization of Orders / Contracts as per timelines decided in SLA
• Ensuring timely delivery of materials as required for plant operations.
• Assurance for compliance of departmental SOP
• Co-ordination with all other departments at HO and site level for material procurement.
• Interaction with peers within business & group for knowledge sharing.
• Resolution of commercial issues of vendors.
• Standardization of practices for O&M procurement
• Development of Sub-ordinates.
• Handling of techno-commercial issues and amendments after placement of orders in co-ordination with site O&M, site Techno-commercial & other associated departments,
• ARC for various regular consumables items.
• Indigenisation of Spares
• Implementation of Business Excellence initiatives like 5S, IMS, SMS etc. in section.

• Implementation of SMS/CSM in order awarding process
