Job Post:  Engineering Manager- FTE

Location: 4 days/week onsite San Francisco, CA.- Onsite Interview

• AI-powered products that help patients access the healthcare they need — from our patient-facing voice AI agents to the platforms and workflows that power them.
• You’ll build a high-performing team, set technical direction, and help great engineers execute.
• We expect you to be technical and hands-on when it matters: leading architecture reviews, debugging incidents alongside the team, and setting the bar for how the team uses AI coding tools to ship faster.

Work experience:

• Has worked at both a scaled tech company and a growth-stage startup (Series A+ strongly preferred).
• Updated
• Has been hands-on as a tech lead or senior IC within the last 1-2 years, not purely managing for many years.
• Baseline Seniority
• 5+ years of experience as a software engineer, with ~2 years spent in an engineering manager position.

Work experience:

• Has led a team of 5+ engineers and is comfortable scaling a growing team.
• Has worked at a true growth-stage startup (venture backed, Series A+ preferred).

Hard skills:

• Strong engineering fundamentals and a demonstrated ability to design, build, and scale production-grade applications or systems.
• Proven ability to hire and develop engineering talent.

Nice-to-have Hard skills: Experience with AI-powered products or platforms.

• Traits to avoid
• Career spent exclusively or extensively in big tech companies (IBM, Meta, Workday, Oracle, etc.)
