TGA Sports of West Houston | Part-Time
Love working with kids? We can teach you the sports.
TGA Sports of West Houston is looking for energetic, dependable, and kid-focused coaches to introduce golf, tennis, and pickleball to preschool and daycare-age children.
This is not about creating the next professional athlete. At this age, it’s about getting kids moving, building confidence, developing motor skills, and creating a positive first experience with sports.

What You’ll Do
- Lead fun, age-appropriate sports classes for preschool and daycare-age children
- Introduce the fundamentals of golf, tennis, and pickleball through games and activities
- Create a positive, encouraging, and supportive environment
- Help children develop coordination, confidence, motor skills, and social skills
- Be a positive role model that kids are excited to see each week
- Set up and manage equipment before and after each class
- Follow TGA’s provided curriculum while bringing your own personality and energy to each class
You Don’t Have to Be a Sports Expert
We provide the curriculum, equipment, and training you need to be successful.
Experience in golf, tennis, pickleball, coaching, or athletics is helpful, but your ability to connect with young children is more important to us.
You may be a great fit if you have experience as a:
Preschool teacher, daycare teacher, youth coach, camp counselor, college student, PE teacher, childcare professional, former athlete, or anyone who genuinely enjoys working with young kids.
What We’re Looking For
- Comfortable and enthusiastic working with preschool-age children
- Positive, energetic, patient, and dependable
- Confident leading a group and keeping young children engaged
- Strong communication skills
- Reliable transportation to schools and childcare centers throughout the West Houston area
- Ability to pass required background screening
- Willingness to learn and follow TGA curriculum and coaching standards
Schedule
This is a part-time position, primarily during weekday mornings and early afternoons, when our preschool and daycare programs operate.
The position can be a great fit for someone looking for flexible daytime hours, and additional coaching opportunities may become available as our programs grow.

Must be 18 years of age or older
Enjoy working with young children and be comfortable engaging with preschool and daycare-age kids
Positive, energetic, patient, and encouraging personality
Dependable and able to arrive on time for scheduled classes
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to program locations throughout the West Houston area
Comfortable leading and managing a small group of young children
Able to communicate professionally with school staff, parents, and TGA leadership
Able to set up, carry, and organize sports equipment
Must successfully complete a background check
Willing to complete TGA training and follow provided curriculum and safety procedures
Golf, tennis, pickleball, coaching, teaching, or childcare experience is a plus, but not required
