Catalog Management Specialist

Location: Charlotte, NC/ Remote

Assignment Type: 6-month contract

Number of Positions: 1

Job Summary

The Catalog Management Specialist ensures completeness, accuracy, and proper association of item master data supporting Foodbuy’s revenue tracking model.

 

Responsibilities:

·        Set up and maintain manufacturer catalogs and items in compliance with master data standards

·        Link distributor data with manufacturer catalog information to maximize the association of manufacturer, customer, and item level data

·        Conduct root-cause analysis of recurring data issues and coordinate corrective actions

  • Maintenance of item category/subcategory structure
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of item attributes

·        Identify duplicate or inaccurate manufacturer catalog data for correction

  • Present findings to management and solicit feedback via formal/informal communication
  • Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of invoice/transactional reporting process
  • Resolve customer challenges, ad-hoc requests, and concerns

·        Generate and maintain reports to analyze and manage daily workloads

  • Formulate new methodologies to drive efficiencies and increase item data capture
  • Ensure that all dealings with suppliers, clients, and internal personnel are carried out ethically and professionally
  • Other duties as required 

 
Qualifications:

  • Completion of undergraduate degree and/or equivalent business experience required
  • Working knowledge of MS Office Suite

·        Experience managing product master data, catalog data, item master data, supplier/distributor data, data operations, or a related function preferred

  • Financial or trend analysis experience
  • Distribution or foodservice experience
  • Supplier and customer interaction preferred
  • Minimal travel required (typically to the corporate office in Charlotte)
