The Role

• Provide essential support to key Submarine Ship Building (SHAPM) Program Offices.
• Contribute to the development and acquisition of Columbia Class and Virginia Class submarines, as well as the Future Attack Submarine (SSN(X)) Program.
• Engage with the Marine Engineering Competency Domain to advance submarine technologies.
• Support the strategic restructuring and process enhancements within the submarine research, development, acquisition, and maintenance communities.

What You'll Need

• Master's degree in any technical or engineering discipline.
• A secret security clearance is required.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Desired: 7 years of professional engineering experience.
• Desired: 7+ years of experience in the design, test, qualification, and production of naval shipboard electrical and/or propulsion equipment.
• Desired: Experience with submarines, the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program, and large electrical machines or power electronics.
