The Role

• Manage the nursing schedule to ensure optimal patient care delivery.
• Identify and suggest improvements in nursing department staffing effectiveness.
• Assist and advise supervisors on any issues related to the nursing schedule.
• Ensure all employee, contract, and student files comply with regulatory standards.
• Schedule and communicate educational opportunities for nursing staff.
• Distribute the nursing schedule in a timely and efficient manner.

What You'll Need

• High school education or equivalent.
• Previous experience in staffing or scheduling, preferably within a hospital setting.
• Excellent organizational and clerical skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee data.
• Strong communication skills for coordinating with nursing leaders and staff.
• Understanding of Joint Commission and regulatory standards is a plus.
