Senior Financial Analyst

Senior Financial Analyst (Contract) Position Overview We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join a lean, high-growth accounting and finance team. This role will have a blend of FP&A and accounting responsibilities, with a strong focus on financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic and operational decision-making. Lead budgeting and forecasting activities and analyze actual results against forecasts. Prepare monthly financial reporting packages, management reporting, and executive-level analysis. Build, customize, and automate reports, dashboards, and saved searches within NetSuite. Support the ongoing NetSuite ERP implementation and optimization, including reporting and workflow improvements. Provide department leaders with financial visibility, spend analysis, and actionable insights.

Assist with month-end close, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, variance analysis, and financial statement review. Support preparation of GAAP financial statements and internal financial reporting. Assist with annual audits, tax filings, surveys, and internal control requirements. Partner with the Controller and other accounting team members to improve financial and accounting processes. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and other finance-related projects.

Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. 2+ years of corporate FP&A, financial analysis, accounting, or public accounting experience. Strong NetSuite experience required. Advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, and INDEX/MATCH. Experience with Power BI or other business intelligence tools highly preferred. Strong understanding of GAAP, financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Experience with Great Plains / Management Reporter is a plus. Healthcare or skilled nursing industry experience preferred.

CPA, MBA, or FPAC designation is a plus. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively in a lean team environment.
