Job Description

Fire Alarm Service Engineer, Company Vehicle & Overtime Available:

Location of works: Oxford and sorrounding

Salary Bracket: Up to £45,000

On target earnings (OTE): Competitive + Overtime + Call Out

4way Recruitment has partnered directly, with an accredited provider to secure a permanent Fire Alarm Service Engineer for their team.

Salary and Benefits - Fire Alarm Service Engineer

  • Basic Salary: Up to £45,000
  • Overtime Available: Time and a Half
  • Travel Time Paid: After 30 Minutes Each Way
  • Annual Leave: 22 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays
  • Company Vehicle with Personal Use
  • Call Out: 11 Hours Rest When on Call
  • Standby Payment: £140 Per Week
  • Call Out Payment: £60 Per Job

Key Responsibilities – Fire Alarm Service Engineer

  • Service and maintain fire alarm systems (both addressable and conventional)
  • Service and maintain emergency lighting systems
  • Maintain fire extinguishers
  • Work safely and professionally within the domestic and social housing sector

Skills and experience – Fire Alarm Service Engineer:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience servicing and maintaining both conventional and addressable fire alarm systems
  • Experience working within the social housing sector preferred
  • FIA training/qualifications are desirable but not essential
  • Good understanding of BS5839-1 fire alarm standards
  • Full UK Driving Licence (clean licence preferred)
