Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee food preparation, production, and presentation according to established standards.

• Train, supervise, and support kitchen staff; assist with hiring, scheduling, and performance management.

• Maintain kitchen cleanliness, organization, and compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.

• Ensure proper use and maintenance of kitchen equipment.

• Address guest concerns professionally and support guest satisfaction.

• Work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Minimum three years of line cook experience; supervisory experience preferred; Marriott experience a plus.

• High school diploma or equivalent; culinary training preferred.

• Valid food safety or food handler certification.

• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

• Ability to read recipes, banquet event orders (BEOs), and operating procedures.

• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
