Job Description

About Hyperbound

Deals are messy. Multiple stakeholders, hours of calls, and endless emails. At Hyperbound, we're building the AI Agent that will help sales teams untangle that mess.

Hyperbound is the Revenue Activation Platform: an agentic OS for sales that connects what happens to what should happen next.

We came out of YC S23 and went viral with Voice Agents that reps could call to put their skills to the test. Today, we’re building AI that understands sales conversations, coaches in real time, reasons across deals, and takes action to move them forward.

We are trusted by companies like IBM, LinkedIn, Amazon, Bloomberg, Supabase, Monday.com, Notion, and Vanta. We raised a $15M Series A in October 2025, grew ARR 5× over the past year, and are growing nearly 20% month over month.

The team you'll build with

We’re former YC founders and founding engineers. We like hard problems, strong opinions, and getting something into customers’ hands while the idea is still fresh.

We work with high trust and real autonomy. You’ll have the context to make decisions, the freedom to choose your approach. We trust you to spot problems, challenge assumptions, and move things forward without waiting for step-by-step direction.

We have each other’s backs. When something goes wrong, we focus on fixing it and learning, not pointing fingers. You’ll have teammates who share what they know, tell you what they think, and jump in to help. We move quickly because we trust each other, give direct feedback, and make decisions together.

We’re optimistic enough to take ambitious swings and willing to change our minds when the evidence comes back. We ship quickly, learn from customers, and keep improving.

What you’ll be doing

  • Technology you’ll be working with. GraphRAG, Context graph, Sub agents architectures, Voice AI, Duplex models, MCP, Multimedia processing, durable execution

  • Make a bet that changes the roadmap. Bring an idea, build the proof, and convince us. Your next experiment could become a core part of Hyperbound.

  • Build the engineering team you’ve always wanted to join. Shape how we ship, how we use AI, and what we expect from each other. High trust, direct feedback, and the freedom to do the best work of your career.

  • Build AI that drives real outcomes. You’ll help create agents that can reason through real sales workflows, recommend the right actions, and collaborate with humans when necessary, directly helping customers book more meetings and win more deals.

  • Go from “what if?” to production. Own the whole thing: spec, build, launch.

  • Get dangerously close to the customer. Join calls, watch people use what you built, and solve their problems

What You’ll Need

  • 3+ years of full-stack engineering experience in React, Node.js, TypeScript environments. You’ve shipped production features across the frontend, backend, and database—and owned what happens after launch.

  • Fluency with AI-assisted design and development. You use AI tools to prototype, build, and debug faster, with the judgment to evaluate their output and take responsibility for the code you ship.

  • An instinct for building AI-native products. You see where AI can meaningfully improve a workflow and think through how the experience should handle uncertainty, latency, and mistakes.

  • Comfort with ambiguity and ownership. You can turn an open-ended problem into a clear approach, make thoughtful tradeoffs, and carry it through to a working product without needing a detailed spec.

  • A bias toward shipping and learning. You know how to scope a useful first version, get it into customers’ hands, and improve it based on feedback.

  • Strong technical foundations, developed through a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent coursework and practical experience.

Compensation and benefits

  • Salary: $200,000 to $220,000, based on experience.

  • Equity: .15%-.3% Series A

  • Health: Medical, dental, and vision coverage

  • PTO: Unlimited

  • Office: In-office in San Francisco 5 days a week, with daily lunches, plus commuter and parking benefits

The interview process

  1. Intro call with James, Founding Recruiter

  2. Tech interviews with the Eng Team

  3. Behavioral interview with Luca, Head of Engineering (15 min)

  4. Paid, in-person work trial with the engineering and product team (1 day)

  5. References and offer

We move fast, from first conversation to offer in 1 to 2 weeks, and we'll be transparent with you at every stage.

Equal Opportunity

Hyperbound is an equal opportunity employer. We welcome applicants of all backgrounds, identities, and experiences. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, genetics, disability, age, or veteran status.
