EHR Application/Business Analyst

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced EHR Stability Analyst to support the stability, usability, and continuous improvement of its Electronic Health Record (EHR) environment.

The EHR Stability Analyst will provide application support to Local Health District users, troubleshoot and triage system issues, analyze clinical and business workflows, identify system gaps, and work with technical teams, business stakeholders, and EHR vendors to develop effective solutions.

This role combines EHR application support, business analysis, requirements gathering, workflow analysis, and software testing. The analyst will also support interim solutions while helping define longer-term enhancements and system improvements.

Required Qualifications

• Experience providing application support, preferably supporting healthcare or clinical applications.
• Experience with business analysis, requirements gathering, requirements documentation, and enhancement analysis.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience analyzing and documenting business or clinical workflows.
• Understanding of clinical, pharmaceutical/pharmacy, and patient billing workflows.
• Experience participating in structured software testing cycles, including functional testing, integration testing, regression testing, and/or UAT.
• Ability to work effectively with technical teams, business stakeholders, end users, and vendors.
• Strong documentation skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and Visio.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting, implementing, or enhancing an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
• Experience with Oracle Health / Cerner applications.
• Experience supporting public health or government healthcare environments.
