• Location / Work Arrangement: Remote (Eastern Time Zone / EST Required)
• Schedule Flexibility: Must accommodate early morning working hours as needed to conduct calls and real-time coordination with offshore teams in India
• Core Responsibilities & Day-to-Day Scope
• Cross-Border Site Transition: Serve as Project Manager driving the transition of operations and project startup from Montreal, Canada to a new site location in India.
• Knowledge Transfer & Partner Integration: Partner directly with L&T (India) to define deliverables, oversee execution, and ensure structured, seamless knowledge transfer.
• Engineering & Live Support: Deliver remote project management and engineering support during live training sessions, with specialized support for Ultrasound machinery systems.
• Software & Compliance Escalations: Collaborate directly with Software Engineers and Quality/Compliance teams to triage escalations and advance core technical projects.
• End-to-End Project Execution: Manage full-lifecycle project planning, timeline management, resource coordination, and execution across multi-regional teams.
• Project Leadership: Proven track record as Project Manager of Record with demonstrated success in delivering technical or medical device products.
• Domain Focus: Medical device software systems and equipment support (Ultrasound experience strongly preferred).

Day-to-Day Duties

• Project Execution & Management: Independently plan, execute, and deliver multi-disciplinary software/innovation projects within agreed specifications, budgets, timelines, and staffing limits.
• Team Leadership & Delegation: Lead and guide multi-functional project teams; delegate tasks based on individual strengths; foster an inclusive, high-performing, and collaborative work environment.
• Issue Resolution & Decision-Making: Address and resolve complex technical or process-related issues using creative techniques and sound judgment with minimal supervision.
• Stakeholder Alignment & Communication: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal/external clients, subcontractors, and senior leadership; proactively manage expectations and project status.
• Customer-Centric Iteration: Gather customer feedback throughout the project lifecycle and incorporate it into iterations to ensure final solutions address end-user needs.
• Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, capture lessons learned, and participate in organizational knowledge transfer.
• Process Improvement & Compliance: Identify opportunities to optimize workflows using PMBok and SAFe guidelines, while staying compliant by completing all required LMS trainings (e.g., Cornerstone, TEDs, Totara) on time.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Project Management Methodologies: Advanced knowledge of PMBok and SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) principles.
• Planning & Estimation: Proficiency in advanced estimation techniques for project resources, timing, budget, and risk management.
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead, delegate, and guide teams across multi-disciplinary functions under limited supervision.
• Stakeholder Management: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to handle client, vendor, and senior management relationships.
• Problem-Solving & Judgment: Track record of resolving complex issues creatively and selecting appropriate methods/techniques independently.
• Compliance & Administrative Operations: Ability to self-manage operational training compliance via LMS tools.

Desired Skills & Qualifications (Implied & Value-Add)

• Agile / SAFe Certification: Formal certifications like SAFe Agilist (SA), SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), or PMP.
• Domain Specialization: Experience in software development lifecycle (SDLC) leadership or innovation-driven technology projects.
• Process Excellence: Hands-on experience driving continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean/Six Sigma or Agile process optimization).
• Customer Journey & UX Focus: Experience incorporating direct customer feedback loops into technical product or solution roadmaps.
