The Role • Author and manage site assets’ infrastructure design substantiation documentation, supporting the site nuclear safety case. • Review analyses, assessments, and calculations validating nuclear design substantiation. • Support the periodic review of site safety. • Take ownership of deliverables, demonstrating high levels of autonomy and leadership. • Support the implementation of design substantiation requirements. • Collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders including Site Safety Case, Human Factors, and Engineering Authority Teams. What You'll Need • Experience in a complex or high-risk industry (e.g., Aerospace, Oil & Gas, Defence, Shipbuilding, Weapons). • Degree qualified or time-served apprentice in a STEM subject, or equivalent working experience. • Proven ability to produce high-quality technical reports. • Experience in design substantiation and safety justification of mechanical, civil, and structural site assets and facilities. • Ability to engage cross-functionally within a large organisation. • Understanding of stakeholder collaboration and management.
