SEN / SEND Tutor | Doncaster, United Kingdom | Hybrid | £28 - £35 per hour

We are hiring for an impactful community organisation dedicated to transforming the lives of young people with special educational needs. Join a team committed to providing innovative and trauma-informed support, making a real difference in the lives of vulnerable learners.

The Role

• Provide in-person, online, and hybrid tuition in Maths, English, or Science to students with SEND and SEMH needs.
• Support pupils from KS1 to KS5, planning and delivering flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring.
• Plan lessons, report on student progress, and provide regular feedback.
• Work with local authorities and schools to raise the standard of education for young people with diverse learning needs.
• Be part of a child-centred mission to reimagine support for vulnerable young people.

What You'll Need

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS).
• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD.
• Familiarity with teaching English, Maths, and/or Science.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment.
• Enhanced DBS check (assistance provided if needed) and professional references.
• Must be based in the UK with the right to work.
