Quick overview
Job description
We're looking for a talented Senior Email Marketing Officer to help shape and deliver our email marketing programme at one of the UK's leading cancer charities.
Working closely with colleagues across the Charity, you'll play a key role in developing and delivering engaging, personalised email campaigns and supporter journeys. From our monthly supporter newsletter to marketing and stewardship communications, you'll use creativity, data and insight to strengthen engagement and help drive fundraising impact.
Using testing, analytics and email marketing best practice to drive continuous improvement, you'll help optimise our email programme, identify opportunities to innovate and share insights that improve how we communicate with our supporters.
You'll also provide peer leadership and mentorship to our Email Marketing Officer, making this an excellent opportunity for an experienced email marketer looking to develop their leadership skills and make a real impact within a supportive and collaborative Marketing and Digital team.
About us
At The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity, we raise money to save the lives of people affected by cancer, everywhere. -
Strong knowledge and understanding of email marketing best practice.
-
Experience developing and optimising email campaigns and supporter journeys.
-
Excellent writing and editing skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
-
Experience using analytics platforms such as Google Analytics and using data and insight to improve performance.
-
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships with colleagues across different teams.
-
Strong organisational skills and a proactive approach, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
-
Experience working with external agencies, contractors or freelancers would be an advantage but is not essential.
Why join us?
This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your email marketing career at one of the UK's leading cancer charities and use your expertise to make a genuine impact.
You'll join a creative and supportive Marketing and Digital team responsible for our websites, email, social, direct mail, paid advertising and more. You'll have the opportunity to help shape and improve our email programme, test new approaches and use data and insight to continually improve how we engage our supporters.
You'll also be supported to develop your skills and expertise through continued learning and training opportunities.
We offer
-
27 days' annual leave plus bank holidays, rising with service
-
Hybrid and flexible working (60% home working)
-
Generous pension contributions
