The Role

• Coordinate the nursing schedule to ensure optimal patient care and departmental effectiveness.
• Identify and advise nursing leaders and supervisors on potential staffing and scheduling issues.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards for employee, contract, and student files.
• Schedule and facilitate educational opportunities for the nursing staff.
• Distribute nursing schedules in a timely and professional manner.
• Assist with clerical duties, including drafting correspondence and maintaining employee data.

What You'll Need

• High school education or equivalent.
• Experience in staffing or scheduling, preferably within a hospital setting.
• Strong organizational and clerical skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
