Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer with strong expertise in Microsoft technologies, including Microsoft Azure, Power Apps, and the Power Platform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines, integrating data across enterprise systems, and building solutions that support business processes and data-driven decision-making.

The candidate should have a strong understanding of data engineering principles, SQL, ETL/ELT processes, Azure data services, and Microsoft Power Platform tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows using Microsoft Azure services.
• Work with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Microsoft Fabric, or related Azure data services.
• Build and support business applications using Microsoft Power Apps and Power Platform.
• Implement workflow automation using Power Automate.
• Work with Microsoft Dataverse to design, manage, and integrate business data.
• Develop complex SQL queries, optimize database performance, and support data transformation processes.
• Design and maintain data models, data warehouses, and data lakes.
• Integrate Power Apps and Power Platform solutions with Azure services, APIs, and external data sources.
• Ensure data quality, security, governance, and compliance with enterprise standards.
• Collaborate with business analysts, application developers, architects, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot data pipeline failures, integration issues, and application performance problems.
• Document technical designs, data flows, integration processes, and implementation procedures.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, data integration, ETL development, or a related technical role preferred.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud-based data solutions.
• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, relational databases, and data transformation techniques.
• Experience designing and implementing ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Knowledge of Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, or Microsoft Fabric.
• Experience integrating enterprise applications through REST APIs, connectors, and other integration mechanisms.
• Understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, data lakes, and data quality management.
• Familiarity with Microsoft security, access controls, and data governance practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft certifications in Azure Data Engineering or Power Platform.
• Experience with Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Azure Storage, or Azure SQL Database.
• Knowledge of Power BI and reporting data preparation.
• Experience with CI/CD, Git, Azure DevOps, and deployment automation.
• Familiarity with enterprise application integration and Microsoft Dynamics 365.
