Freelance Video Editor (M/F/D)

Accountabilities:

Edit and produce engaging YouTube long-form videos, typically ranging from 8 to 15 minutes.
Develop compelling storytelling through creative editing, effective pacing, and well-structured narratives.
Enhance videos with appropriate visuals, transitions, effects, and other post-production elements to ensure a professional final result.
Take ownership of assigned projects, demonstrating independent thinking and proactively suggesting creative improvements.
Incorporate feedback accurately and efficiently while maintaining consistent quality standards.
Continuously refine editing techniques and contribute to improving the overall quality of video content.
Requirements:
Previous experience in video editing, ideally with a portfolio demonstrating long-form YouTube content. Candidates with short-form editing experience and strong technical skills are also encouraged to apply, as training can be provided.
Proficiency in at least one professional video editing tool, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, or equivalent software.
Strong storytelling abilities, creative thinking, and a good understanding of video structure, pacing, and visual composition.
Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to deliver polished, well-organized, and engaging content.
Reliability, accountability, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Strong communication and organizational skills, including the ability to meet deadlines, manage priorities, and implement feedback effectively.
A proactive mindset and willingness to learn, grow, and continuously improve creative output.
