Job Description

Job Description A rapidly growing technology organization is seeking a Data Solutions Engineer to design, enhance, and maintain a business-critical analytics platform used by strategic business teams. This role is ideal for an experienced Python developer who enjoys building data-driven applications, solving complex data challenges, and delivering insights that drive business decisions.
The successful candidate will work on a production-grade analytics solution that processes large volumes of information from diverse sources, integrates with internal and external systems, and delivers reporting, visualization, and decision-support capabilities. This position offers a unique opportunity to work directly with business stakeholders while building scalable solutions that impact day-to-day operations.
This is a fully remote opportunity within the United States. Required Skills & Experience
  • Strong production-level Python development experience
  • Experience building and supporting production-grade applications
  • Hands-on experience with Pandas, NumPy, and data transformation workflows
  • Proven ability to manage and process large, complex datasets
  • Experience developing analytics, reporting, or business intelligence solutions
  • Knowledge of API integrations and data exchange methodologies
  • Experience with data visualization tools and libraries such as Plotly, Matplotlib, or Seaborn
  • Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, testing methodologies, and version control systems
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work directly with business stakeholders
  • Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Experience with Streamlit, Gradio, Dash, Taipy, or similar Python UI frameworks
  • Experience implementing data validation frameworks such as Pydantic or Pandera
  • Familiarity with geospatial analytics and data processing
  • Experience within insurance, financial services, or other regulated industries
  • Experience deploying and maintaining cloud-based analytics applications
  • Knowledge of SQL and modern data engineering concepts
  • Background in sales analytics, data quality initiatives, or data governance programs
What You Will Be Doing Daily Responsibilities
  • Own and enhance a Python-based analytics application used across business teams
  • Ingest, cleanse, standardize, and validate data from spreadsheets, APIs, databases, and other data sources
  • Design and optimize scalable data processing workflows that improve accuracy and reliability
  • Develop interactive user experiences using modern Python application frameworks
  • Build reporting, visualization, and business intelligence capabilities
  • Integrate internal and external data sources to enrich analytics and reporting
  • Develop validation controls and quality assurance processes to improve data integrity
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver effective technical solutions
  • Troubleshoot and optimize existing applications and processes
  • Document architecture, workflows, and data models to support long-term maintainability
