Job Description

SAP RAR Functional Support Analyst

Location: Dallas, TX / Plano, TX 100% Onsite
Job Type: Contract
Duration: 12+ Months

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP RAR Functional Support Analyst to provide post-go-live production support for a subscription billing modernization solution migrating from a legacy platform to SAP.

The consultant will be responsible for supporting SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR) processes, including revenue contract creation, event processing, allocation, posting, and reconciliation across wholesale, retail, and subscription business scenarios.

The role will work closely with OTC, GL, ABAP, and SAP BTP/integration teams to investigate production issues, resolve incidents, perform root cause analysis, and maintain stable revenue accounting operations.

Required Skills

  • Strong hands-on functional experience with SAP RAR
  • Experience with SAP RAR configuration
  • Experience integrating source systems with SAP RAR
  • Hands-on knowledge of BRF+
  • Understanding of ASC 606 / IFRS 15 revenue recognition requirements
  • Strong understanding of revenue recognition concepts, including:
    • Contract modification
    • Allocation
    • Deferral
    • Revenue recognition timing
  • Experience supporting integrated billing and finance processes
  • Ability to analyze end-to-end issues across source transactions, SAP processing, and accounting results
  • Experience with production support, incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
  • Experience with reconciliation and financial data validation
  • Ability to collaborate with OTC, GL, ABAP, and integration teams
  • Strong communication, analytical, and documentation skills

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with subscription billing / recurring revenue models
  • Experience with ASC 606 and/or IFRS 15
  • Experience supporting legacy platform modernization to SAP
  • Familiarity with interface-driven SAP landscapes
  • Experience in SAP hypercare and steady-state production support
  • Experience working in post-go-live support environments

Work Arrangement

  • 100% Onsite Dallas/Plano, TX
  • 12+ Months Contract
  • Candidates must be comfortable working onsite.
