Compliance Analyst

Introduction

The Compliance Analyst supports audit readiness and compliance oversight activities through the collection, validation, analysis, tracking, and reporting of compliance-related data. This role requires advanced Excel skills, strong analytical capabilities, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels.

Responsibilities

• Support pre-audit readiness activities by collecting, validating, and organizing information required for internal and external audits.
• Monitor audit readiness activities and maintain tracking tools to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
• Collect, consolidate, validate, and analyze data from multiple sources.
• Maintain and update audit readiness trackers, databases, and reporting tools.
• Develop recurring and ad hoc reports, scorecards, dashboards, and executive summaries.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Finance, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in reporting, analytics, compliance, audit support, or related business operations.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience working with large datasets and multiple data sources.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting audit, compliance, regulatory, or risk management functions.
• Experience in preparing executive-level reports and presentations.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting tools.
• Knowledge of electric utility operations.
