Fire Service Technician | Myrtle Beach, SC, United States | Hybrid

The Role

  • Respond to service calls, diagnose, and repair electronic fire alarm systems and other building system products.
  • Troubleshoot and install various fire and life safety systems from different manufacturers.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittits, and operational manuals.
  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction and building strong relationships.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and potentially mentor other team members.
  • Proactively identify and recommend solutions to customers to improve facility efficiency and resolve service-related issues.

What You'll Need

  • Minimum 1 year of experience with fire alarm systems, including exposure to access control systems.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints, diagrams, and specifications.
  • Good working knowledge of computers and ability to follow instructions.
  • Capable of performing physical labor, including climbing, working in confined spaces, and lifting up to 50-70 lbs.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license with a driving record that meets company requirements.
  • Strong organizational skills, a positive attitude, and a capacity for quick learning.
