The Role: • Actively acquire new B2B customers and serve as the primary point of contact and expert for existing corporate clients within the store. • Cultivate and expand relationships with existing trade customers (e.g., craftsmen, caretakers), aiming to increase "heyOBI Profi" sales through active outreach. • Drive revenue growth in the B2B sector through targeted new customer acquisition, reactivation of existing accounts, and effective product sales. • Manage and report on sales performance using defined key performance indicators, including weekly new customer acquisition, customer activity rates, and specific sales targets. • Oversee order management, including creating quotes and orders, coordinating product procurement, and proactively offering OBI services like delivery and equipment rental. • Handle administrative tasks such as product preparation in-store, managing reservations and pickups, and processing customer complaints. • Plan and execute in-store customer events, such as trade breakfasts or regular meetups. • Collaborate closely with colleagues across all store departments to ensure seamless customer support. What You'll Need: • Completed vocational training as a sales professional or retail clerk, or several years of experience in sales, retail, or trade. • Previous B2B sales experience is highly desirable. • Good product knowledge and understanding of effective product placement. • Proficiency with PC applications and standard software. • Excellent communication and negotiation skills in both written and spoken German. • A customer-centric approach with the ability to engage openly with people and persuasively sell products.
