Learn about the Trident II D5 Fleet Ballistic Missile. Lockheed Martin (LM) is looking for a resourceful Systems Engineer to become a member of the Systems Engineering and Integration Team.

As a Systems Engineer for Requirements and Verification on the FBM Life Extension 2 (LE2) program, you will: • Develop/analyze/verify system level requirements and document & manage accordingly. • Coordinate with customer and other contractors to execute verification analyses and tests. • Organize/coordinate domain expert objective evidence creation and documentation. • Organize/coordinate system level technical reviews.

The information below reflects the standard job description for this position: Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.

Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.

Basic Qualifications • Experience working with various engineering disciplines (i.e. mechanical, electrical, safety, test, etc.) to develop requirements specifications • Experience CAMEO and/or DOORS • Familiar with Requirements • Must have a Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance; US Citizenship required

Desired Skills • Knowledge in Systems Engineering concepts and processes • Writing requirements documentation and coordinating document release through approval process • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, excellent social skills, and ability to create consensus among peers while forming relationships with team members • Experience with Requirements • Knowledge of MBSE • Knowledge of Interfaces • Experience in systems engineering, preferably in a defense or aerospace environment • Experience with coordinating Systems Milestones reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR) • Strong understanding of systems engineering principles • Active Top Secret clearance Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $95900.00 - $178100.00 At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
