Job description
Remote Data Engineer & Insights Analyst - long-term contract. Rates: $95/hr C2C or 1099; $88.27/hr W-2. Responsibilities: Design, build and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines on AWS using S3, Glue, Redshift, EMR, Athena, Kinesis and Lambda. Orchestrate workflows with Apache Airflow and/or AWS Step Functions. Write advanced, performance-tuned SQL and model data for analytics. Build dashboards and insights for business stakeholders. Work with big data technologies (Spark/Hadoop) and ensure data quality, security and documentation. Required: 7+ years data engineering/analytics experience; strong hands-on AWS data stack (Glue, Redshift, EMR, Athena, Lambda); expert SQL and Python; Airflow or Step Functions; dashboarding/BI (Tableau, Power BI or similar); strong communication. Fully remote.
