Human Resources Assistant
LHH has partnered with an established property management company in Central San Diego that is seeking a Human Resources Assistant to join their team on a contract-to-hire basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organized, detail-oriented professional who enjoys supporting both Human Resources and day-to-day business operations. The ideal candidate will be proactive, dependable, and comfortable balancing human resources, operations and administrative responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Support recruiting efforts including candidate communications, interview scheduling, and applicant tracking
Coordinate new hire onboarding, orientation, and employee documentation
Maintain employee records and assist with HR compliance initiatives and audits
Provide administrative support for HR, operations, and property management teams
Assist with vendor communications, contracts, and service-related follow-up
Support accounting functions including invoice processing, tracking expenses, and administrative reporting
Assist with property management projects, tenant communications, and operational coordination as needed
Maintain accurate records, trackers, and documentation while ensuring confidentiality
Support special projects and help ensure smooth day-to-day office operations
Manage multiple priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail and meeting deadlines
Qualifications:
1+ years of experience in Human Resources, recruiting, administration, property management, operations, or a related field
Experience supporting onboarding, employee documentation, or HR processes preferred
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
Experience working with vendors, invoices, accounting support, or property management operations is a plus
Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently and collaboratively
Compensation
$25.00/hour
Contract-to-Hire

Schedule:
100% Onsite
Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
