Application Architect III - ServiceNow Developer || Madison, WI - W2 Only ||

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer / Application Architect to design, develop, configure, customize, and support ServiceNow solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in ServiceNow development, ITSM/ITAM, scripting, workflows, integrations, and business process automation.

Key Responsibilities : 

Participate in the full ServiceNow implementation lifecycle, including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment.

Design and configure ServiceNow modules including ITSM, ITAM, and other modules based on business requirements.

Develop integrations with enterprise systems using REST, SOAP, and related technologies.

Create and maintain Business Rules, UI Policies, workflows, scripts, and automation.

Configure and develop solutions using Flow Designer and Service Portal.

Support change management, system configurations, workflow automation, and documentation.

Troubleshoot and provide ongoing ServiceNow platform support and maintenance.

Assist with upgrades, patches, and new ServiceNow releases.

Collaborate with architects, project managers, IT teams, and business stakeholders.

Gather requirements and translate business needs into scalable ServiceNow solutions.

Maintain technical and process documentation.

Provide training and support to end users.

Follow ITIL and ServiceNow best practices.

Required Skills : 

6–9 years of relevant experience.

Strong ServiceNow development experience, including scripting, workflows, integrations, Business Rules, and UI Policies.

Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, Glide scripting, and SQL.

Demonstrated expertise in at least two ServiceNow modules, such as:

ITSM

ITAM

CSM

Other ServiceNow modules

Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and enterprise integrations.

Experience with Flow Designer and Service Portal.

Knowledge of ITSM implementation and ITIL practices.

Experience with Agile development methodologies.

Understanding of DevOps and software security.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.

Preferred Certifications : 

ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)

ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)

Project Environment : 

This is a specialized ServiceNow SME-level role supporting a ServiceNow implementation. The candidate will work with a team of architects and a project manager while independently managing development and technical responsibilities.

The role involves change management, system configuration, workflow automation, integrations, documentation, and ongoing ServiceNow support.
