Python Full stack Developer

Title: Python Fullstack Developer

Location: Los Angeles, CA (5 Days Onsite) 

We are looking for a Python Fullstack Developer with strong experience in building and supporting Python-based microservices and REST APIs. The candidate should have hands-on experience with cloud-native applications and good working knowledge of at least one cloud platform — AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. The candidate should also have hands-on experience with React and TypeScript.
The candidate should be comfortable participating in technical design, solving complex engineering problems, and delivering reliable, scalable applications in a production environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop and maintain Python-based microservices using frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask or Django.
• Develop secure, scalable and well-documented REST APIs and integrate with internal and external systems.
• Develop and maintain front-end features using React and TypeScript, and integrate them with backend microservices and REST APIs.
• Participate in service decomposition, API design, data modeling and technical design discussions.
• Implement asynchronous and event-driven integrations using Kafka or cloud messaging services.
• Implement appropriate patterns for error handling, retries, timeouts, idempotency and resiliency.
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases and optimize queries and application performance.
• Write unit, integration and API tests and maintain good code quality and test coverage.
• Implement application logging, metrics and distributed tracing and troubleshoot production issues.
Technical Requirements
• Strong hands-on experience with Python 3.x, OOP, exception handling, type hints, testing and asynchronous programming (asyncio).
• Hands-on experience with React and TypeScript, including functional components, hooks, state management, component testing, and consuming REST APIs.
• Good understanding of microservice architecture, service boundaries, REST APIs, API versioning, synchronous vs asynchronous communication and resiliency patterns.
• Strong understanding of designing and implementing event driven architecture using a cloud provider leveraging patterns like fan out (Eventbridge, SNS, SQS / Kinesis in case of AWS) with proper message / data redundancy and fall back mechanisms.
• Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ or cloud-native messaging such as SQS/SNS, Azure Service Bus or Google Pub/Sub.
• Strong SQL skills with PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle or similar; exposure to NoSQL databases is desirable.
