Software Architekt (m/w/d)

The department is looking for support in Software Development specialized in embedded avionics software with a strong background in development and integration of real-time, safety-critical embedded systems for aerospace applications. The jobholder works as a Software Developer / Architect for embedded real time software (d/f/m)

• Design, develop, and maintain embedded avionics software for aerospace systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, systems engineers, to ensure seamless integration of software solutions into avionics systems
• Ensure compliance with aviation industry standards (e.g., DO-178C, DO-254) and safety-critical software development practices
• Perform mission system integration activities on hardware for various projects
• Conduct testing, validation, and verification of software to meet aerospace requirements

Studium:

- Informatik mind. Master / Diplom-Studiengang oder

- Luft- und Raumfahrt mind. Master / Diplom-Studiengang

Berufserfahrung:

• IT / Informationssysteme mind. über 3 Jahre
• Luft- und Raumfahrt mind. über 3 Jahre
• Proven experience in embedded software development for avionics or aerospace applications is required
• Familiarity with avionics standards (e.g., ARINC 653, DO-178C) and safety-critical software development
• Englisch mind. verhandlungssicher
• German is a plus
• IT Experience in C/C++ and/or Ada and real-time operating systems (e.g., VxWorks) is needed
• Experience with virtualization technologies (including resource segregation and drivers)
• Knowledge of Hardware Architectures (x86, ARM and RISC-V) Experience with CI/CD Methodologies
