Job description
Client requires a Closures Design Engineer to design and develop vehicle opening systems such as doors, hoods, liftgates, tailgates, and trunks. The design Engineer should ensure these systems are safe, durable, lightweight, easy to manufacture, and provide a high-quality customer experience.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automotive Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
Experience: Minimum 3 years of engineering experience in Body-in-White (BIW), closures, or exterior vehicle systems.
DFSS Green Belt or Black Belt certification is strongly preferred.
