Job Description

Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LICSW, LMHC)

Location: Rhode Island
Setting: Remote / Telehealth
Position: Full-Time
Salary: $115,000–$120,000 per year
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

Position Overview

We are seeking an independently licensed mental health therapist to join a remote outpatient practice serving clients throughout Rhode Island. This role offers a structured clinical environment for a therapist who values consistency, professional autonomy, and high standards of care. The position is open to clinicians licensed as an LMFT, LICSW, or LMHC and is well suited for professionals experienced in providing ongoing behavioral health support in an outpatient setting.

Clinical Responsibilities

  • Provide scheduled individual therapy sessions through a secure telehealth platform
  • Complete intake evaluations and comprehensive clinical assessments
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on presenting concerns and client goals
  • Apply evidence-informed interventions appropriate to each client’s clinical needs
  • Monitor treatment progress and update care plans when indicated
  • Complete progress notes and other required documentation within established timeframes
  • Conduct risk assessments and follow applicable safety protocols when necessary
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA, Rhode Island licensure requirements, ethical standards, and organizational policies
  • Active Rhode Island independent license (LMFT, LICSW, or LMHC) in good standing
  • Master’s degree in an aligned behavioral health field
  • Experience providing outpatient therapy services
  • Proficiency with EMR documentation and professional communication
  • Ability to maintain a consistent Monday–Friday schedule
